Australian jurisdiction, always
Models, vector stores, and audio are deployed on-premise or in Australian cloud regions. Nothing about your data leaves the country to make the AI work.
Sovereign enterprise AI
Lexylon is a Melbourne AI consulting and enterprise software firm that designs and builds sovereign AI systems on Australian infrastructure, from private RAG and secure LLM architecture to autonomous agents and AI voice telephony.
Most AI consulting in Australia stops at a strategy deck. Lexylon is an engineering firm: the same senior architects who scope the work design the retrieval pipeline, wire the agent into your phone system, and keep it running in production. We work on-site across Melbourne and Victoria, remotely for organisations anywhere in Australia, and with international clients who want the same sovereign standard applied to their own jurisdiction.
Every engagement is built around one constraint that matters more here than anywhere else: your data stays in Australia, under Australian privacy law, on infrastructure you control. That is not a feature we add at the end. It is the first design decision.
The practice
How it runs
01
A senior engineer reads your systems, your data, and the problem you are trying to solve, then comes back with a proposed approach and costed options. No obligation, no deck.
02
Architecture, data residency, and security boundaries are decided on paper first. A working pilot runs in staging against your real data shapes within the first month.
03
The first workflow goes live behind a measured rollout, with 24/7 support already watching it. From there, delivery is a rhythm, not an event.
Data sovereignty
Models, vector stores, and audio are deployed on-premise or in Australian cloud regions. Nothing about your data leaves the country to make the AI work.
Retrieval is logged, personal information is minimised before it reaches a model, and every answer can be traced back to its source document.
AI connects to the data you already have, including DB2 on IBM i, through typed APIs. No rip-and-replace, no second copy of the business in someone else's cloud.
FAQ
It starts with a free discovery session where a senior engineer reads your systems and the problem you want solved. From there we design the architecture, run a pilot in staging within about a month, and take the first workflow to production with support in place. The people who scope the work are the people who build it.
Yes, and that is the default. Models, retrieval indexes, and voice audio run on your own infrastructure or in Australian cloud regions, under the Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles. We do not send your records to overseas-hosted models.
No. Most of the value is in connecting AI to the data you already hold, whether that sits in a modern platform or in DB2 on an IBM i. We expose that data through secure APIs and build the AI capability beside your systems, not on top of a rewrite.
Typically within the first 30 days. Architecture and data boundaries are agreed first, then a pilot runs in staging against your real data. Production follows a measured rollout by around Day 90 for a first workflow.
We do not publish rates. Work is priced under three models: a dedicated team, time and materials, or a fixed price per module built from an honest estimate of hours. The discovery session is free and ends with costed options you can question line by line.
Yes. Lexylon is headquartered in Melbourne with on-site capability across Victoria and Sydney, works remotely with organisations anywhere in Australia, and takes on international clients who want the same data-residency discipline applied under their own laws. Smaller and mid-size businesses are welcome; what matters is a real problem worth solving.
