1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VOLT for iPhone (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and LEXYLON (ABN 81 834 713 796), a sole trader operating under the laws of Australia ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms govern the VOLT iPhone app only.
2. Definitions
- "VOLT for iPhone" — the iPhone application provided by LEXYLON, and the subject of these Terms.
- "Service" — the features and functionality provided through VOLT for iPhone.
- "User" — any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
- "API Key" — authentication credentials issued by third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).
- "Usage Data" — anonymised metadata such as provider names, token counts, cost aggregates, and timestamps.
3. The iPhone App
VOLT for iPhone is a free application that displays your AI API usage and cost data. It shows real-time spend, budget alerts, usage analytics, and multi-provider summaries across providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
The app may be updated, modified, or discontinued at our discretion with reasonable notice.
4. No In-App Purchases
VOLT for iPhone is provided free of charge. It contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no paywalls, and no paid upgrades. No payment method is required to download or use it, and the app never asks you for one.
Nothing in these Terms creates a payment obligation for VOLT for iPhone. We do not bill you, invoice you, or collect payment details in connection with this app.
LEXYLON publishes other software under separate terms. Those terms govern that software only and do not apply to VOLT for iPhone.
5. Eligibility & Account
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. Notify us immediately at support@volt.lexylon.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
6. API Key Usage
Your API keys are stored exclusively in the device Keychain. VOLT never transmits, stores, or has access to your API keys. They remain entirely under your control.
You are solely responsible for the security and validity of your API keys. VOLT uses these keys locally to query provider APIs for usage data. You must comply with each provider's terms of service regarding API key usage.
7. Data & Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Where enabled, VOLT syncs only anonymised usage metadata (provider names, token counts, cost aggregates, timestamps) to iCloud for cross-device access. No API keys, request content, prompts, or generated output is ever transmitted.
For full details on what data we collect and how we use it, please review our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in VOLT — including the software, design, branding, and documentation — are owned by LEXYLON. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app.
You retain ownership of your data, including any usage data and reports generated through the Service. We claim no ownership over your content.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Circumvent any security measures or access controls
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Distribute, sublicence, or resell the Service without prior written consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
10. Limitation of Liability
Australian Consumer Law Notice: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LEXYLON shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to VOLT for iPhone shall not exceed AUD 100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LEXYLON from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with any changes, you should discontinue use of the Service.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
