3. Information We Do NOT Collect

VOLT is built with a privacy-first architecture. We explicitly do not collect, transmit, or have access to:

🔑 API Keys

Stored exclusively in the device Keychain. Never transmitted to any server.

We never intercept, read, or store the content of your API calls.

4. How We Use Your Information

• Service Delivery — To provide, maintain, and improve the app's features and functionality.
• Analytics — To understand usage patterns, optimise performance, and develop new features.
• Customer Support — To respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical assistance.
• Product Improvement — To analyse aggregated, anonymised data for product development.
• Communications — To send service updates, security alerts, and (with your consent) marketing communications.
• Legal Compliance — To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

5. Data Storage & Security

• Local Storage — API keys are encrypted using AES-256 via the device Keychain and never leave your device.
• iCloud Sync — Usage metadata (provider names, token counts, cost aggregates) may optionally sync via iCloud for cross-device access. This data does not include API keys or request content.
• Infrastructure — Where applicable, backend services are hosted on Australian infrastructure. Cloud data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest.
• Access Controls — We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, access logging, and regular security reviews.

6. Third-Party Services

VOLT for iPhone integrates with the following third-party services:

🍎 Apple

Apple's platform services — app distribution and iCloud sync for anonymised usage metadata — handled under Apple's own privacy policy. No payment processing is involved; the app is free.

📊 Analytics Providers

Anonymised usage analytics to help us understand how VOLT is used and improve the product.

7. International Data Transfers

As an Australian business, your data may be processed in Australia and other countries where our service providers operate (e.g., the United States for Apple services).

We ensure that any international data transfers comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988. Where data is transferred to countries without equivalent privacy protections, we implement appropriate safeguards including contractual protections.
